Educational Event featuring RCC Indoor Percussion
, :: March 29, 2020
System Blue Educational Events provide an opportunity for students, educators, and fans alike to hone their performance, leadership, and teaching skills under the instruction of the finest educators in the marching arts.
Due to the COVID-19 issues around the country, and especially in the Riverside County area, we are taking proactive measures to cancel this Educational Event featuring RCC Indoor Percussion. We're sorry that it's come to this point, but everyone's health and safety is our primary concern.
This track for marching percussion students, instructors, and directors will provide a unique insight into the organizational and educational methods of the 6-time WGI World Championship Ensemble. The students will have the opportunity to work with the RCC staff on developing music and visual techniques that are unique to RCC and the indoor activity. There will also be a separate track for directors and instructors to discuss design, rehearsal, and organizational strategies for running a successful indoor program.
Sean Vega is the Program Coordinator and Battery Arranger for the WGI Independent World Class Champion RCC Indoor Percussion. This highly decorated ensemble has not placed lower than fourth at the WGI World Championship and has won the Gold Medal six times.

In these thirteen combined years with BD, Sean has helped the corps win six DCI Championships, four DCI High Percussion Awards, and the DCI Multi-Tenor Individual Title in 1995.
